10/29/09 Finishing Gas Laws

Today we:

• Did demos on change of phase & Charles' Law .
• Continued with notes from the unit.
• Worked on Lab 3-2, Gas Law Calculations.

Coming up:

• Continue with the notes on Matter & Energy. The notes can be downloaded as: color with 2 slides per page, black & white with 6 slides per page or the full presentation with media included in zip format (179MB).

Homework:

• Students should work on the lab report on gas law calculations. This report is due on Monday, 11/2.
  

Test: We will have a test on Thursday, 11/5. This will primarily be on material from the Matter & Energy unit.

Students need to complete one project each month. The current project is the second of two choices. If both are completed, it will count as extra credit. If you weren't one of the six students that did the last project, you need to complete this one. Click here to see the project.
