11/2/09 Mole Diagram

Today we:

• Continued with notes from the unit.
• Finished the section on Mole Diagrams. The notes can be downloaded as: color with 2 slides per page, black & white with 6 slides per page or the full presentation with media included in zip format (179MB).
• Began Atomic structure unit.
  
• Worked on Lab 4-4 Elements & Ions.

Coming up:

• Continue with the notes on Atomic structure.
• Practice stoichiometry problems.
  

Homework:

• Students should work on the lab report on gas law calculations. This report is due on Monday, 11/2.
  

Test: We will have a test on Thursday, 11/5. This will primarily be on material from the Matter & Energy unit.

Students need to complete one project each month. The current project is the second of two choices. If both are completed, it will count as extra credit.
